Peñalba de Ávila is a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2010 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 123 inhabitants. Peñalba de Ávila is 17 kilometres (11 mi) from Madrid. It comprises 23 square kilometres (8.9 sq mi) of surface area and its altitude is 1,073 metres (3,520 ft) above sea level.
